Shipping Policy

Silaee Ghar provides doorstep tailoring services with pickup and delivery of garments within the serviceable area. This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how fabric pickup and garment delivery are handled.

 

1. Service Area
   Silaee Ghar offers pickup and delivery services only within Pune city. Orders outside the serviceable area will not be accepted.

2. Fabric Pickup
   Fabric pickup is scheduled after order confirmation. Customers must ensure that the fabric, lining (if applicable), and any add-ons such as lace or patches are ready and available at the scheduled pickup time. Our female designer will visit the customer’s location for fabric pickup, measurements, and design discussion.

3. Pickup Responsibility
   Once the fabric is handed over to the Silaee Ghar designer, it is considered received in good condition. Customers are advised to verify fabric quantity, quality, and completeness before handing it over.

4. Delivery Timeline
   Delivery timelines provided are estimated and may vary depending on garment type, design complexity, workload, or unforeseen circumstances. Silaee Ghar will make reasonable efforts to deliver garments within the estimated time.

5. Garment Delivery
   Finished garments will be delivered to the customer’s provided address. Customers are advised to inspect the garment at the time of delivery and raise any concerns within the applicable alteration period.

6. Delays
   Delays caused due to fabric issues, design changes, customer unavailability, or unforeseen circumstances do not qualify for order cancellation or refund.

7. Shipping Charges
   Pickup and delivery charges, if applicable, will be communicated at the time of order placement. All shipping and convenience charges are non-refundable.

8. Failed Pickup or Delivery
   If pickup or delivery fails due to customer unavailability or incorrect address details, rescheduling may be done subject to additional charges.

9. Risk and Liability
   Silaee Ghar takes reasonable care during transportation; however, it is not responsible for damage caused due to fabric nature, embellishments, or normal handling during transit.

10. Policy Updates
    Silaee Ghar reserves the right to modify or update this Shipping & Delivery Policy at any time without prior notice. Updated policies will be effective upon publication on the website or app.
